Kellogg’s New Zealand has partnered with Auckland’s trendy craft brewery, Hallertau, to unveil a limited-edition Crunchy Nut-inspired beer – a foray into uncharted territory for the global cereal giant.
Breaking the breakfast mold, the partnership aims to redefine the way cereal is consumed by offering a bespoke summer ale that encapsulates the irresistible flavors of Crunchy Nut.
Ben O’Brien, Kellogg’s New Zealand Country Manager, expressed the company’s excitement about this innovative venture, highlighting the global novelty of such collaboration.
The concoction, aptly named the Hallertau Crunchy Nut Sour Ale, is a result of playful experimentation at the Hallertau Brewery, where lactose imparts a milky finish and local ingredients like kiwi, peanuts, and honey contribute to a uniquely tantalizing experience.
Available on tap from November for a limited time, the Hallertau Crunchy Nut Sour Ale can be enjoyed at select premium bars and bottle stores, including Lovebucket, Brewers Co-op, Fine Wine Delivery Co stores, and more.
As Kellogg’s and Hallertau push the boundaries of flavor, this limited-edition beer promises to be a refreshing and indulging treat, challenging traditional notions of cereal’s time and place.
