Let’s face it, navigating the immigration process has the potential to cause meltdowns.
My first foray (for a family member) into the world of visas and immigration involved enough paperwork that my sanity hung by a thread. By the end of the process, I was convinced I needed a visa to breathe air that wasn’t government-issued anxiety.
Thankfully, with help from the team and my own research, I’ve learned where all the best immigration agencies are in Auckland. So, if you’re tired of being stressed out because of immigration, simplify the matter by using these ones!
How much does it cost to hire immigration advisor in Auckland? In Auckland you can expect to spend at least 150 NZD for the initial visa service assessment with an immigration advisor. However, this is just a price estimate. The actual price will vary depending on the visa you’re applying for, and which immigration agency you go with. |
How We Chose
1. Visa4u Immigration Advisers Auckland New Zealand

Address: 203 Queen Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday – 9 AM to 4 PM
Website: Visa4u Immigration Advisers Auckland New Zealand
Many we spoke to said working with Visa4U felt like hitting the jackpot, mainly because of Chris Hilton. And from speaking with Chris ourselves, it was clear why.
From the get-go, Chris was all in, guiding his clients through every step with patience and clarity, and he had an impressive grasp on the ever-changing immigration rules.
Whether it was an email, a call, or even a WhatsApp message, Chris was there, answering his client’s questions no matter how trivial they seemed. Perfect for those “what in the world are we doing” moments with paperwork.
What really stood out was how Chris took the time to get the gist of what his clients were after. Some of his clients even expressed to us how he never shoved them towards some one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, he showed genuine care for their situations.
That being said, while Chris is a wizard with the visas, others we spoke with told us they wished the Visa4U website could’ve been more user-friendly. Having more information, like more specific details on the visa types they handle and what they charge upfront, would’ve been super handy.
Pros
- Impressive grasp on immigration rules
- Excellent communication
- Patient with difficult visa situations
Cons
- Website is not very user-friendly
- Don’t publicly state all of the visa types they handle

2. IANZL Immigration

Address: Level1/166 Harris Road, East Tāmaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand
Contact Details: Monday to Wednesday, Friday – 9:30 AM to 6 PM
Operating Hours: +64 9 272 4424
Website: IANZL Immigration
During our consultation with IANZL, it became crystal clear that these advisors weren’t just throwing around fancy immigration jargon. They know New Zealand’s immigration maze like the back of their hands, with all the savvy insights to avoid any potential face-palms.
And hats off to IANZL for their communication game. They’re like that reliable friend who always texts back, keeping you in the loop with updates so you’re never feeling ghosted. And questions? Throw the trickiest ones at them—they’ll tackle them with a grin.
At the end of the day though, it’s all about getting that visa, and IANZL is pretty good at getting those visas stamped. So with IANZL, you’ve got some solid odds in your favour.
However, IANZL’s price tag might make your wallet wince a bit. So for anyone watching their bank balance closely, it’s worth considering other options.
Additionally, they’re quite popular, meaning you might find yourself in a bit of a queue for that initial call. So if time’s ticking on your end, you may be better off somewhere else.
Pros
- Tons of savvy immigration insights
- Reliable communication
- Successful in gaining visas
Cons
- Expensive service fees
- Que for initial consultation is long

Helped me get my residency visa approved
“It was an amazing experience with Immigration Advice NZ Ltd. I am short of words as to how Saif and his team helped me in getting my residency visa approved, but still I would pen down some experience. As my case officer was already assigned and there were certain replies required by the immigration officer. I had immediately contacted Saif, he is a very trustworthy and hardworking person. Saif and his entire team (Vasantha who even worked after hours for my case) had prepared the reply within a week as it needed to be given promptly. Would highly recommend Saif and his team to anyone who needs help with regards to immigration. Would love to meet the entire team.”

If you’re planning on jumpstarting your visa using their online application on their website—you’re out of luck. We first tried to go through the process online and just kept getting error messages. So, their website definitely needs a refresh.
However, when we spoke with Prime Immigration ourselves, we could see why their clients raved about them to us. They really got the memo on keeping things crystal clear. They offer consultations that you can even do over Skype like we did.
And from what we’ve heard, Prime Immigration has a squad that’s pretty much the Avengers when it comes to nailing student and visitor visas. But they also handle section 61 requests, resident visas and even Australian visas too.
We also liked how Prime Immigration doesn’t play hide-and-seek with their prices. They lay it all out there, so you’re not left doing mental gymnastics trying to figure out if you need to sell a kidney to afford their services.
Pros
- Transparent with pricing fees
- Online Skype consultations
- Variety of immigration services offered
Cons
- Online visa application is broken
