Stories like these made me research the places considered the holy grail of plastic surgery. With help from the Auckland Magazine team, we interviewed patients and spoke with surgeons.

What truly distinguishes Dr. Moaveni is his gentle and patient approach. We appreciate that he takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly. Many of his patients’ parents have expressed immense gratitude for his care and expertise.
We also value his work with facial palsy in both children and adults. He’s genuinely passionate about helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
In addition to his specialties, his expertise in performing birthmark and vascular anomaly removal and scar revision is top-notch. Several patients were delighted with their scar revision results, noting minimal traces of the original injury.
However, scheduling an appointment with Dr. Zachary Moaveni can take weeks. We suggest reaching out at least three weeks in advance to secure a spot.

Besides that, we value how he and his staff create a comfortable environment and address concerns.
However, some patients wished for clearer at-home care instructions. It may be helpful to ask specific questions about aftercare during your consultation to ensure you feel fully prepared.

The staff also impressed us with their kindness and support. They were always available to answer any questions and ensured patients felt comfortable throughout the process.
Upon reviewing Dr. Mackenzie’s portfolio, we found the results remarkable. We were especially impressed by how natural the results looked, particularly in breast augmentation and liposuction cases.
But that’s not all. It’s also impressive how her expertise spans a wide range of procedures. This includes abdominoplasty, hand surgery, and even skin cancer surgery.
We also liked how the entire experience—from the initial consultation to the follow-up appointments—felt professional and reassuring.

We appreciate that he offers both in-person and virtual consultations. He utilizes Zoom for video consultations and can arrange phone calls. This makes it easy to connect with him regardless of location.
During our consultation, we were impressed by his professional approach. He carefully assessed our queries and provided honest advice on whether the procedures were suitable.
Additionally, the before-and-after photos we reviewed were remarkable. The results were subtle yet effective. The transformations were clear, leaving individuals looking naturally beautiful.
However, the experience was not the same for all. A few mentioned prolonged swelling that took longer to subside.
Apart from that, there were also occasional reports of inconsistent price quotes. This can be frustrating for patients who want clarity and transparency.

The most impressive thing about Dr. Julian Lofts is his focus on natural-looking results. We appreciate that he avoids the “overdone” look. Instead, his approach focuses on enhancing features rather than completely changing them.
We were particularly impressed with his face and neck lifts. The before-and-after photos showed a significant improvement in patients’ appearances.
We also loved how patients looked refreshed and rejuvenated, not as though they’d had work done.
In fact, one patient shared that after her procedure, she finally felt confident enough to ditch her heavy eye makeup. She expressed how happy she is with her appearance.
Aside from that, we also appreciated the incredibly attentive and supportive staff throughout the procedure.
However, be aware that Dr. Lofts can be significantly more expensive compared to others.
