We love how helpful he is during his detailed consultations. He takes the time to understand your wishes and is not afraid to burst any unrealistic bubble of expectations.
We also liked his emphasis on achieving natural-looking results, a sentiment echoed by many patients we spoke with. The results we’ve seen look like a refreshed version of their normal faces–they don’t come out looking like overdone plastic dolls.
Some of the former patients we talked to also praised the subtle changes he made to address sagging in the lower face and neck.
He can be a bit hard to reach via phone at times, though. Patients complained about being on hold by the front desk for more than ten minutes (which we also experienced when we tried scheduling an undercover consultation)–and that’s just to have a simple conversation with him.

Dr. Moaveni makes it easy for patients to understand what is best for their faces. We like how his consultations aren’t confusing because he uses diagrams to explain the underlying causes of facial aging and how surgery can correct them.
Many of his patients also appreciated Dr. Zachary Moaveni’s understanding that truly natural and long-lasting facelift results require addressing the deeper layers of the face.
His expertise in deep plane, extended, and high SMAS techniques is awesome. These advanced methods involve releasing and repositioning the underlying muscle and fat (SMAS layer) rather than just tightening the skin.
It’s really impressive how he approaches facelifting as a 3-dimensional sculpting procedure, going beyond simple pulling and tightening.
The only drawback is the fee, as it can be high compared to other clinics. However, we think it’s worth it since it already includes all postoperative dressings, visits, and appointments.

Dr. Stanley Loo offers many facelift techniques, from less invasive options using incisions in front of the ear to more comprehensive face and neck lifts.
We liked his adaptable approach and straightforward communication style. Patients love how he listens carefully to their concerns and recommends a facelift that is just right for them—not too artificial or too minor.
The only thing is that because Dr. Loo really focuses on a customized plan for each patient, the first meeting to discuss your options might take a little longer (think 45+ minutes).
That said, the results speak for themselves. Those who got less invasive facelifts loved how it made them look refreshed and less tired.
In the results we’ve seen, we like the defined jawlines. Others love how much younger and natural they look without their cheekbones sagging like a droopy balloon.

We love that Dr. John De Waal places emphasis on addressing the underlying superficial musculoaponeurotic system layer of the face. He expertly uses the deep plane technique to give his patients more natural, lasting results.
But what we particularly loved was his use of old photos of his patients in guiding the sculpting process. He really aims to recreate a more youthful version of you, which we appreciate.
Many patients actually told us when they looked in the mirror, they felt years were taken off of their faces.
We also appreciate Dr De Waal’s thorough pre-operative planning. He takes the time to draw planned incisions on your face during consultations.
Patients love this because it gives them a clear understanding and realistic expectations of what to expect.
Although his facelift results are often excellent, some patients mentioned that the post-operative care instructions could be more detailed and specific. For example, they wished they knew how many times a day to keep the incision sites clean.

Dr. Julian Lofts caught our eye because he is thoughtful and patient-focused.
We love how he takes the time to understand what you want your face to look like thoroughly. During consultations, we like that he pulls out his previous clients’ photos to give you a glimpse of what he can do for you.
Many patients also told us they felt heard and appreciated his honest assessment of what could realistically be achieved.
Honestly, we love how upfront he is about the potential outcomes because no one wants to go into face surgery blindsided.
He also had a calm and reassuring demeanor on the day of surgery, which helped ease the nerves of many patients.
We also like his meticulous surgical techniques. He aims for subtle yet impactful rejuvenation and doesn’t make more incisions than necessary.
The one thing we didn’t love is how hard it is to secure an initial appointment with Dr. Lofts. Whenever we called, the call kept going on hold and then dropping into the void.
