Website

Hours: Open on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 pm to 4 am

Bar 101 is branded as the city’s go to place for students (of the right age that is). A big part of the reason why are the super cheap drinks you can get here. Unlike other premier clubs in Auckland with huge price tags on bottles, the menu here is affordable.

They take this a step further by offering free entries to students every Wednesday and Friday night and cruisers for as low as $3.50.

On Saturdays, if you get there before midnight and present a student ID, you also get to go in for free. On these days, they offer $6 double drinks and 2 vodka redbull drinks for $13.

If student crowds aren’t really your thing then it might be best to visit the Bar 101 during exam season and avoid going there on the last days of the semester which is when the crowd really gets filled with students celebrating!
