Throughout the installation process, their professionalism was top-notch. They managed to navigate the quirks of my old plumbing system with ease, keeping me in the loop with updates and quick to address any of our concerns.
What I loved best about JG Plumbing was their attention to detail. They installed a beautiful new shower set, sink, and the most efficient toilet I could have hoped for, transforming my bathroom from drab to fab.
However, if I were to nitpick, I’d say their pricing was a tad on the steep side. It did give me a bit of sticker shock initially.
Another minor gripe was the mess left behind after the first day. Though they cleaned up beautifully at the project’s completion, it would have been nice to see a bit more tidiness throughout the process.

And Mitch, one of their plumbers, didn’t just dive into the chaos. He assessed the situation with calm precision, laid out the plan, and only then got his hands dirty.
It was his systematic approach, combined with his expertise, that really stood out to us. He knew his stuff, and it showed in how efficiently he fixed our crisis.
Despite Mitch’s plumbing expertise, we had a slight hiccup in communication post-service.
We were left a bit in the dark regarding some of the specifics of the follow-up care and had to initiate the conversation to understand better. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely a space for improvement.
Additionally, while we understand that emergency services carry a premium, a clearer breakdown of the costs involved upfront would have been appreciated. It’s easier to swallow a bitter pill when you know exactly what you’re paying for.

” Found cylinder leaking after being away for 2 weeks. Contacted plumber used previously but they couldn’t come for 10 days. “I contacted Matthews Plumbing using their online form, and they got back to me very promptly although it was a holiday period. Chris phoned me to arrange a time for Tom to fix the flow restrictor on my shower, and Tom turned up promptly on the day arranged. He listened to what I wanted done (more cold water needed, so that the shower has a range of hot and cold, not just hot and dribbling) and spent some time checking what he needed to do.
