5 Clinics Worth Checking Out for the Best Invisalign in Auckland

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Orthodontic Credentials and Expertise: I checked the clinical qualifications and formal training of the lead practitioners, distinguishing specialist orthodontists from general dentists providing Invisalign.

Digital Technology and Monitoring: I prioritized clinics using modern digital scanners and remote app check-ins, since these tools can cut down on clinic visits.

Pricing Transparency and Payment Flexibility: I examined upfront quotes, consultation charges, and interest-free instalment terms.

Treatment Scope and Inclusions: I reviewed whether packages include retainers, follow-up tweaks, and diagnostic scans.

Crooked teeth can make anyone feel self-conscious during work meetings or casual weekend catch-ups. Clear aligners offer a welcome escape from metal brackets, giving adults and teens a subtle way to straighten teeth without hassle.

Many patients consult orthodontists or cosmetic dentists for a smile upgrade, yet quotes, 3D scanners, and treatment plans vary across town. Every patient deserves an honest dental team that respects both a busy routine and a household budget.

To help you find the right help, I rounded up trusted local clinics to take the guesswork out of orthodontic care. Below is my guide to the clinics offering the best Invisalign in Auckland so you can get a confident new smile.

How much does Invisalign cost in Auckland?

Invisalign in Auckland typically costs between NZ$6,000 and NZ$12,000, with the average comprehensive treatment sitting around NZ$8,500, depending on case complexity and treatment length.

Invisalign TypeTypical Cost Range (NZD)
Invisalign Lite / Go (minor corrections)$4,500 to $6,500
Invisalign Full / Moderate (bite corrections)$7,500 to $10,500
Complex Cases (individual assessment)$10,500 to $12,800+

1. Auckland City Orthodontics CBD

auckland-city-orthodontics-cbd

Website: aucklandcityorthodontics.co.nz

Address: Level 2, 79 Queen Street, Central Business District (CBD) 1010

Contact: 09 377 7607 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon 9:00 AM–5:00 PM · Tue 9:00 AM–6:00 PM · Wed 9:00 AM–5:00 PM · Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM · Fri 9:00 AM–1:00 PM · Sat–Sun Closed

Finding time for clinic visits during a busy work week can be difficult, but Auckland City Orthodontics CBD makes Invisalign easier to manage.

They pair specialist-led treatment with Dental Monitoring software, so the team can track progress between visits and reduce trips into Queen Street

The digital scan preview is another useful feature. Their iTero scanner creates a 3D preview of the planned smile before treatment, which I think makes the process easier to understand.

Flexible payment plans also help spread out the cost.

The main thing to know is that the initial consultation isn’t automatically free for everyone. A $250 fee may apply to transfer cases, second opinions, children under 12, and patients referred by a dentist or specialist.

Pros

  • Specialist orthodontist oversight
  • Remote progress checks through Dental Monitoring
  • 3D iTero scans and treatment previews
  • Interest-free instalment arrangements

Cons

  • $250 fee may apply to certain consultation types
  • Closes early on Friday afternoons

I completed my Invisalign journey in just one year (a few months early)
I was referred to Auckland Orthodontist CBD by another dentist, and it was the best choice I ever made. Thanks to the excellent care from Dr. Ross and Dr. Lu, I completed my Invisalign journey in just one year (a few months early). They always responded in a timely manner and took extra care whenever I visited. After the treatment, they even helped fix my chipped tooth and made it look even with the others. I can finally feel confident about my teeth again. Thank you so so much

reset partway through to get the best possible result
Started my Invisalign journey in 2024 and the experience has been excellent from day one. Dr Ross, Sophie and Lu have all been incredibly professional, friendly and supportive throughout the process. They always take the time to explain each stage clearly, answer questions and make sure everything is progressing properly. The clinic is well organised, appointments run smoothly and the whole team creates a welcoming environment. My treatment was reset partway through to get the best possible result, and I really appreciated the attention to detail and care taken to make sure my teeth move correctly…

2. Donna Lim Orthodontics

donna-lim-orthodontics

Website: donnalimorthodontics.co.nz

Address: 161 Stoddard Road, Mt Roskill 1041

Contact: 09 869 8288 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon–Tue 8:00 AM–4:30 PM · Wed 8:30 AM–5:00 PM · Thu 8:45 AM–5:00 PM · Fri 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (office only) · Sat–Sun Closed

Choosing between clear aligners and braces often comes down to price, and Donna Lim Orthodontics charges the same fee for both. I think that makes comparing the two options much simpler

Owner Donna completed three years of specialist orthodontic training at the University of Melbourne and consults in both English and Cantonese.

The clinic also combines regular visits with remote monitoring, so you can keep track of treatment between appointments.

Invisalign is one of several aligner systems available, with the choice based on your teeth and treatment plan. The initial exam includes digital impressions, X-rays, and detailed treatment options, giving you plenty of information upfront.

The catch is the assessment fee: $200 or $300 depending on age, with a $50 booking deposit credited toward it.

Pros

  • Same treatment pricing for clear aligners and braces
  • Consultations available in English and Cantonese
  • Specialist training at the University of Melbourne
  • Remote monitoring between clinic check-ins

Cons

  • Paid initial assessment
  • Friday opening is office-only

Donna has been amazing throughout — always providing great service, thoughtful treatment plans
Been seeing Donna for about 10 years now! I originally had braces done here (and then didn’t wear my retainer 😅), so ended up coming back to get Invisalign for my top teeth. Donna has been amazing throughout — always providing great service, thoughtful treatment plans, and making the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.

Everyone is always so lovely and welcoming, and they offer great payment plans if needed, which has been really helpful. My sister and I have both had treatment here and would highly recommend Donna and the team 😊

Eden Orthodontics handles Invisalign plans for adults, teens, and suitable younger children through Invisalign First. That broad age range makes the clinic useful for families managing orthodontic needs alongside regular kids dentistry.

Pros

  • Diamond Invisalign provider status
  • Invisalign First for suitable younger children

4. North Shore Orthodontics

north-shore-orthodontics

Website: northshoreortho.co.nz

Address: 14 Auburn Street, Takapuna 0622

Contact: 09 488 7488 | [email protected]

Hours: Mon–Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM · Fri–Sun Closed

Crossing the bridge for dental work isn’t always convenient, but North Shore Orthodontics offers tailored Invisalign care in Takapuna.

Lead orthodontist John Shennan completed three years of specialist training in Cardiff, adding substantial specialist experience to the practice.

A colleague who used the practice also praised how smooth the initial smile evaluation was, without feeling pressured into treatment.

That fits with the clinic’s complimentary Invisalign evaluation, which includes digital scanning to simulate potential results before you commit.

Once you decide to proceed, in-house monthly instalments and a discount for upfront payment give you some flexibility with costs.

The downside is the limited routine hours. The practice operates Monday through Thursday, so regular appointments can be harder to fit in if Friday or weekend visits work better for your schedule.

Pros

  • Complimentary Invisalign evaluation
  • Cardiff-trained specialist orthodontist
  • In-house interest-free monthly plans
  • Digital scans with treatment simulation

Cons

  • Routine opening hours are Monday–Thursday only

Address: 395 Dominion Road, Mount Eden 1024

Contact: 0800 255 764 | [email protected]

All Smiles Dental spells out its Invisalign treatment inclusions from the start, which I think makes budgeting much easier. The fee covers diagnostic records along with fixed and removable retainers.

On top of that, they provide an upfront treatment estimate, so you have a clear idea of the expected cost. They even offer flexible interest-free payment terms to help spread out the cost.

The clinic also uses iTero digital scanners for treatment mapping and has an on-site SprintRay 3D printer for producing custom retainers. That setup can make the process more convenient.

Once treatment is finished, the clinic can also follow up with cosmetic dental work if you’re considering whitening.

  • On-site 3D printing for retainers
  • Evening hours until 8:00 PM on three weekdays
  • Upfront Invisalign treatment estimates

Cons
