So, after hearing enough tree woes, we decided it was time to branch out (pun intended) and find the real tree service pros in Auckland—the ones who know the difference between pruning and butchering.

We also appreciate how they handle arboricultural reports, council consent, and on-site supervision for works around sensitive trees. This is valuable for anyone who wants to avoid the headache of breaking any tree removal laws.
On the tree care front, Auckland Tree Works does everything from large removals to precise pruning. We love how their crew balances safety with aesthetics, ensuring each tree stays healthy and looks its best.
Even their hedge trimming is a cut above—people told us their hedges have never looked better.
The only thing people complained about was their stump grinding. Several people told us they had to wait weeks for the stump to be ground down.

They don’t top at removals, either. Their full range of services includes pruning, trimming, stump grinding, and hedge trimming. They even supply mulch, which is a nice bonus for serious gardeners.

The only thing is, their punctuality can be hit or miss. Several people said they showed up hours later than scheduled on more than one occasion.

But what really impressed us was Tree Factor’s emergency response. When storms hit, their 24/7 storm damage cleanup is fast and reliable. Several people told us their team arrived quickly, cleared the debris, and restored safety to their homes.
Whether it’s storm damage or scheduled maintenance, the team shows up well-equipped and ready for both big and small jobs.
Palm removal and pruning are also handled with the same care and attention. Even the trickiest palms are dealt with cleanly and safely. Their regular pruning keeps gardens looking neat, and their stump grinding leaves no unsightly remnants behind.
The only thing people weren’t happy with? The inconvenient lack of updates regarding the team’s arrival time.
