The Top Benefits of Being Single on Valentine’s Day

Sometimes better known as “Single’s Awareness Day,” Valentines Day carries with it a stigma of certain expectations to those in relationships, from buying chocolates, roses, or jewelry, to going out to dinner at a restaurant you both you know can’t afford. But, when you’re single, you don’t have to abide by any of those standards.

You can wear whatever you want, even if that means wearing nothing at all…

You can order out whatever food you want to eat, and you don’t have to share any of it…

You can bake cookies and eat them all for yourself 

You can watch YOUR favorite show or movie on Netflix. Then another one. And another one…

You can go to a bar because it’s almost guaranteed everyone there will be single too…

You can count all of the money you have by not having to spend it on anyone else…

You can have your other single friends come over, surrounding yourself in complements and positivity…
