From the sky, is arguably one of the best views of Fiji. Flying into Nadi International Airport is a sight in itself, flying in over the the Fijian coastline is the perfect end to the 3-4 hour flight. It’s definitely worth getting a window seat if you can to get some shots of the flight in.

Marriott Resort and Spa (from above)

Just as stunning from the sky as it is on the ground, the Marriott Resort and Spa is a site to behold in itself. It’s one of the few Fijian resorts to have overwater bures.

Cloud 9

River rafting in Fiji

A post shared by Genise (@genisegerken) on

Slightly different from Fiji’s famed beaches is the Nacua River, one of Fiji’s best kept secrets. Located in the remote highlands of Viti Levu, the Navua River runs through the island, offering towering volcanic walls, that make for the perfect Instagram shot. You can slowly make your way down the river or if you’re into adventure, try white water rafting.

Sawa-I-Lau Caves, Yasawa Islands

Located in the northern islands of Yasawa, the Sawa-L-Lau Caves are hidden away and only accessible by day trips via boat. The caves are made from ancient limestone and make for great photos.

There are two caves, the second of which is only accessible by swimming through an underwater tunnel. Depending how dedicated you are to getting the shot and if you have a guide, you can swim through to the second cave to get a once in a lifetime photo.

The Hangar / Nadi Airport

Few airports are set upon a backdrop of mountains and Nadi International Airport is one of the lucky airports that comes complete with a one of a kind view. Looking out from the departures lounge you get a prime view of the famous Fiji Airways hangar. Set against the mountains, at sunset, sunrise and on a clear day, the hangar steals the show as one last spot for a quick Insta snap before you go home.
