New Zealand’s premier fashion event, New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) will return this August, bringing the sort of energy and glamour that only comes from being the biggest week on the NZ fashion calendar. Taking over the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre from Monday 27 August to Sunday 2 September, NZFW is set to shake things up with exciting changes at hand. In its eighteenth year, international and local buyers and media will be spoilt for choice with a packed schedule of forward season AW19 shows and events taking place from Monday 27 –Thursday 30 August. Striving to build on the success of 2017, NZ Fashion Weekend will be the place to be from Friday 31 August with in-season shows, the designer pop-up sale, the coveted Beauty Hub and more. Tickets for NZ Fashion Weekend will be available from 25 June from www.iticket.co.nz In an exciting move to meet designer’s needs, this year see’s the introduction of a new adaptable presentation space, The Studio replacing the smaller showroom of past years. The Studio has been designed to give designers and brands the ability to present their collections in multiple ways, from a 280-capacity runway configuration to blank canvas installation space or seminar layout. NZFW has also welcomed a new Elite Partner to its family of Sponsor Partners, Auckland’s newest 5- Star designer hotel, M-Social. An exciting addition to the event, and situated just 500m from the NZFW Venue, M-Social will be the home for NZFW’s VIP guests for the week, and will be a hub ofNZFW activity, hosting key NZFW events before and during the event.
